Par Track are hosting a Triathlon Training Camp during the coming Easter Holidays on Thursday 02 April to be delivered by Chris Dominey Performance Coaching.
This is a competition prep style Triathlon / Duathlon training camp aimed at children 8 -12 years (or at least able to compete at Tristar 1 level) who are competing in Duathlons & Triathlons.
Technique work based around run & bike (no swimming on this course), top tips, transition work and general guidance mixed with fun and games.
The session includes:
- bike handling
- gear changing
- mounting and dismounting
- run technique
- speed and endurance (bike and run)
- stop and starting (collecting bands)
- transition training
£5 lunch available in the cafe (paid on the day)
Its important that children attending the Camp have all the basic skills in place already and can therefore benefit most from the experience. Basic skills include : efficient at riding a bike unaided and being able to tie own shoelaces, transitions will form a big part of the day so getting shoes on / off quickly is key. It is recommended children have Velcro or elastic laces in place for this course.
How to book:
We cannot accept cancellations once you have booked but you can pass your ticket onto a friend and they can come instead as long as you let us know and they meet the requirements for attending the session 🙂
